Properties of 2D and 3D shapes

P7 are learning about the names and properties of 2D and 3D shapes. We have been learning about shape terminology. We now know what a vertex is and that more than one vertex is referred to as vertices. A prism is a shape that will have an identical cross section all the way through, a bit like a Toblerone. A pyramid can have any straight edged shape as its base. A triangle based pyramid is called a tetrahedron, it can be turned on any side and will always look the same. image image image image image image image image image image image
