P7 Rosemount Trail

P7 went out and explored Aberdeen to learn more about life in Scotland during the war.

We used maps of roads around Rosemount Place and found our way to Cornhill Hospital which had suffered severe bomb damage during WWII. Along the trail we learned about all the evidence, that still exists today, which tells us what life was like in the 1940s. Did you know Aberdeen used trams as the main form of transport? Ask us what evidence proves this is true. We also got to visit and go inside of a real bomb shelter! It was too dark for any good pictures inside!
