Last week we were very fortunate to receive a visit from Lt Helen Froud and Mr Wallace from the Salvation Army, Citadel. Lt Froud led an assembly about commemoration and respect. Mr Wallace kindly played his flugelhorn, playing “The Last Post.”
Our boys and girls were fantastic, showing respect and empathy during the 2 minute silence. We talked about the right to be safe from harm and how without these soldiers’ sacrifice, we may not be able to have our other rights fulfilled – such as playing, meeting in groups, or even not being able to follow and develop our own beliefs.
Why not watch our video and look at our photos. Mr Markey and Miss Forbes were exceptionally proud of the boys and girls. Well done!
