Net Aware – Keeping Children Safe Online

NSPCC have updated their Net Aware site and app.

Net Aware has been created by the NSPCC and O2 to help parents see what sites, apps and games are popular, why young people like them, and how safe they are.

Net Aware now features new sites including Yubo (formally Yellow), Sarahah, Discord, and a news page about Fortnite.

Net Aware makes it easy to stay up-to-date with what children do online and how to keep them safe. It gives information and advice about privacy settings and safety, as well as recommended age guidance and risk ratings for inappropriate content, to help you decide whether a site is right for a child.

Net Aware is also available as a free, easy-to-use app – download it now and activate push notifications to stay up-to-date.
