STEM Club’s adventure to Glasgow with their Wind Turbine entry

STEM Club travelled to Glasgow last Friday to enter the “Knots to Watts” competition organised by SCDI’s Young Engineers & Science Clubs programme.

Over 50 school clubs gathered at Glasgow Science Centre to showcase their floating wind turbine.

P6 and P7 pupils were busy making their wind turbine for the last 6 months with the help of some STEM Ambassadors from Wood Group.

We had a fantastic day competing with other schools and exploring the Science Centre.

The children received fantastic comments from the judges and were recognised for their hard work and enthusiasm.
