Scottish Shops in P5/6
The children in P5/6 have really enjoyed learning about Scottish foods so decided to use a range of skills to design our own Scottish shops!
We split up into teams and worked collaboratively to firstly decide on an appropriate name for our shops. Some of us decided to use some of the Scots words we had learned.
Then we had to use our research and drawing skills to create Scottish products to sell in our shops.
After that, we had to give each item a price. We visited various online supermarkets to make sure that our products weren’t too expensive or too cheap.
Then we set up our shops and got ready to welcome our customers! We had to use our numeracy skills to add, subtract and multiply money amounts. We also had to work out accurate total costs and correct change.
Everyone worked incredibly hard and demonstrated a range of skills! Well done, P5/6!
