Christmas Activities for Families
Hello Amazing Schools and Teachers,
My name is Scott and I’m the Pastor at Catalyst Vineyard Aberdeen North. We have a real heart for gathering people into community and making space for families to have fun together so we wanted to let you know about a few things coming up at Christmas time that we wondered if you might be keen to promote.
Firstly, we have our Christmas Nativity Trail event on Saturday, November 30th, from 10:00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. It begins at Catalyst Vineyard Church, North Site, 14-20 John Street, Aberdeen, AB25 1BT, and proceeds to the Bon Accord Centre before finishing back at John Street for a wee coffee and cake.
What is our Nativity Trail?
Families can arrive at our venue anytime between 10am-11.30am to begin the trail, it’s like a scavenger hunt where each group will receive a booklet with the Christmas story and a map. They will then be sent out to find dressed-up Christmas Characters (members of our Church) who will share a little bit of the Christmas story and give each group a keyword for their storybook, a fun fact and a question before sending them on their way to find the next Christmas Character.
Once groups have found all the Christmas Characters and completed their activity storybook, they can return to our venue to enjoy hot drinks and Christmas treats in our cafe.
This event is completely free, however, we will be accepting donations for our Storehouse Foodbank if people wish to contribute in that way. All food is given out to those in need in our local community. Full details are within our sign-up link below

We then have our Christmas Carol Service at 3pm on Sunday the 22nd Dec at Catalyst Vineyard Church – North Site,14-20 John Street, Aberdeen, AB25 1BT, we would love to see you there!
