Dissolving, Sediments and Reactions!
Primary 7 are studying ‘Reversible and Irreversible Changes’. We have investigated mixing materials with water to find out which dissolve, which create a sediment or react to make a new material. When something dissolves it disappears in the water. A sediment is formed when the material sinks to the bottom or floats to the top and finally if there is a reaction between the water and the material it makes something new that can’t be changed back to what you started with.
