Today, our P7s visited Park Street Sheltered Housing, a new community link that we have recently built at Hanover Street School.
The residents were holding a wee coffee morning to celebrate St Andrew’s Day, to which we were invited.
We didn’t arrive “empty-handed” though – we came delivering performances of 2 songs – the Proclaimer’s “I’m on my Way!” and the more traditional Scots’ song, “Ally Bally.”
- Singing away!
- A keen audience
- Mrs Gray looking on with pride!
- Trying hard!
- A super P7 class!
- Admiring an older person’s musicianship.
- Olive playing the bagpipes with a difference!
- A spur of the moment Highland Fling!
- The songs had much more energy second time round – must be due to the sugar in the tablet!
- One of our pupils speaks to 81 year old Betty, a former pupil of Hanover Street School.
- Hearing all about Lena’s 21 grandchildren!
- Diving into the “funcy pieces.” Melissa LOVED the tablet!
