When we went to Castle Fraser to take part in ‘Going Green’ we were given 2 marrows from the vegetable garden.
We put the marrows to good use, using them to add, subtract, multiply and divide. We learned how important it is to understand numbers. This knowledge enables us to read and understand recipes on how to prepare and cook the marrows, to be able to accurately measure our ingredients, and to know what temperature to cook the marrows, and to cook them for the correct amount of time. We then tasted our roasted marrows, and most of us thought they were delicious!
