P7 WWII Artefacts

P7 had a fantastic and hard working morning last Wednesday!

Mr Patterson, from the Urban Studies Trust, brought in lots of brilliant and authentic WWII artefacts for us to explore and learn from. The children were set the challenge work their way around the many different working stations and answer questions based on particular areas of WWII. They used the artefacts as sources of evidence and inferred many of their answers. The stations included: Rationing, Bombs, Shelters, Helmets, Propaganda, School and Identity cards. P7 listened very well to the brilliant input from Mr Patterson and engaged in some great leaning discussions.
