“Spooky Skeletons or Brilliant Bones?” at Aberdeen Biodiversity Centre
Spooky Skeletons or Brilliant Bones?
Are skeletons spooky, or are our bones brilliant?
Come along to our family fun day to find out.
Meet our full size model human skeleton and learn about the brilliant jobs bones do in human and animal bodies. Excavate (replica) human bones from our bone pit, and use our model skeleton to work out which bones you have found. Make some fun Halloween crafts, and explore bones from lots of different animals. Children will be allowed to take their bones home with them at the end of the session.
Cost: £3 per child. Booking essential!
The sessions are all held on Tuesday 23rd October, and there are 3 time slots available, 10:30 am, 12 noon or 2 pm. Sessions will last for about an hour. Spaces are strictly limited, so please do book early to avoid disappointment.
For more information or to book your space, please contact us on biodiversity@abdn.ac.uk.
